Basketball Recap: Hope Christian Academy's Run of Seven Straight Wins Now Over

After a string of seven wins, Hope Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 63-50 to the Banks Academy Jets.

Hope Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Aziah Amberson, who posted 19 points and five rebounds. Amberson's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Eli Bozeman was another key player, putting up eight points along with 12 boards and eight assists.

Hope Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Banks Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Hope Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-33 victory against First Assembly Christian on the 9th. As for Banks Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 80-9 win against North River Christian on the 9th.
