The Academy's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 68-40 victory over the Fort Morgan Mustangs. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 28 points or more this season.
Leading The Academy to victory were Dominik Konarski and CJ Hernandez. Konarski went 12 of 14 on his way to 25 points and seven boards, while Hernandez went 6 for 10 en route to 14 points along with eight steals and six assists. Those eight steals gave Hernandez a new career-high. Aydon Austin was another key player, going 5 for 7 on his way to 11 points and seven assists.

The Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-50 defeat against Colorado Academy on the 22nd. Fort Morgan has also already played their next contest, a 71-40 loss against University on the 21st.
