Gunter will take on Holliday in each of the teams' fourth playoff contest on Friday. Averaging 42.33 points per game, the Gunter squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully Holliday's defense is prepared for a test.
Gunter took their matchup against Rogers last week by a conclusive 47-14 score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33 to nothing.
Meanwhile, Holliday earned some more postseason success in their contest last Friday. They took down Lexington 33-14. They got scores from a handful of players including Kase Patterson, Mark Hardin, and Jaxx Johnson. Patterson has now produced at least one touchdown in the past three games.
The Tigers were able to grind out a solid victory over the Eagles the last time the two teams met in October, winning 20-7. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or does Holliday have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
