Deer Creek-Lamont have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Bluejacket at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Deer Creek-Lamont, and their matchup two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to five. They took a serious blow against Southwest Covenant two weeks ago, falling 16-65.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-48, which was the final score in Bluejacket's tilt against Medford last Friday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Deer Creek-Lamont took a serious blow against Bluejacket the last time the two teams met, falling 16-68. Can Deer Creek-Lamont avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
