Volleyball Recap: Morningside Academy Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Morningside Academy lost against Calvary Chapel Academy back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles (Eddy) fell 3-1 to the Eagles. While the Eagles (Eddy) didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-20 in the first set.

Morningside Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-9, 25-21, 25-20.

Calvary Chapel Academy found their leader in sophomore Addison Sedaros, who had 35 assists and eight digs.

Morningside Academy's defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Morningside Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Pineapple Cove Classical Academy on the 25th. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against City of Life Christian Academy on the 23rd.
