Volleyball Recap: Prairie Ridge Extends Winning Streak to Four

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Prairie Ridge had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Grayslake Central Rams 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Prairie Ridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Prairie Ridge's win bumped their record up to 30-7. As for Grayslake Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-12.

Coming up, Prairie Ridge will face off against Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grayslake Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
