The Temple Christian Academy Warriors came tearing into Tuesday's contest with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 76-38 win over Barnes Academy at home. Temple Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 24 points or more this season.
Temple Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeramy Trangmar out in front who scored 19 points along with nine assists and five steals. Trangmar has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Gaines, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Temple Christian Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Barnes Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
Temple Christian Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Oakwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th. Barnes Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
