The Lakeview Bobcats will venture away from home to challenge the Immaculate Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Immaculate will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Lakeview extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Bobcats put the hurt on Housatonic with a sharp 22-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Hadley Casey was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Sauvageau, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.
Lakeview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .535. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Housatonic only posted an OBP of .211.
Meanwhile, Immaculate made easy work of Weston on Monday and carried off a 7-1 win.
Maddie Costa made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Costa was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Laurel Pucci, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Jackie Pickering also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Lakeview's record is now 11-6. As for Immaculate, their record now sits at 7-13.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lakeview hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like Immaculate struggles in that department as they've averaged .314. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lakeview got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2018 against Immaculate by a conclusive 18-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
