After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Millbrook, the Heritage Huskies were happy to have found some success on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 win over Knightdale. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Heritage has posted since December 12, 2023.
Heritage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryder Strand, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. KJ Cox was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Heritage's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. As for Knightdale, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will take on Wake Forest at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
