Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Chase County Longhorns walked away with it. They walked away with a 50-42 win over the Longhorns on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Chase County.
Chase County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Camron Lempke, who scored 17 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lempke has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tristan Jablonski, who scored ten points along with two steals.
The win got Chase County back to even at 7-7. As for Kimball, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
Chase County on the road again on Thursday and play against Holyoke at 4:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for Kimball, they will be playing at home against Sutherland on Thursday.
