Burr Oak fell to Michigan Lutheran 38-40 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Everything came up roses for Burr Oak against Michigan Lutheran on Friday as the team secured a 72-0 win. Burr Oak were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Burr Oak back to even at 3-3. Michigan Lutheran are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Burr Oak take on Tekonsha at 7:00 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep their three-game winning streak alive. Michigan Lutheran will be staying on the road, facing off against Litchfield. These teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with six consecutive losses apiece.
