It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the City View Mustangs had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 38-15 margin over Millsap. The result was nothing new for City View, who have now won five matches by 23 points or more so far this season.
Although Millsap took the loss, they still got scores from Kai Hanog and Reid Green.
City View is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Millsap, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
City View will head out on the road to face off against Gunter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Gunter's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. Millsap does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
