The 6-foot-7 forward earned first team MaxPreps Junior All-America honors last season with averages of 21.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. He posted 17 double-doubles and led Notre Dame to an appearance in the Open Division state semifinals.

Prior to his junior campaign, Stokes spent his first two years of high school at Prolific Prep, where he earned MaxPreps Freshman and Sophomore All-America honors.
