The Gahr Gladiators will challenge the Warren Bears at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Gahr needed a bit of extra time to put away Downey. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vikings, sneaking past 4-3.
Bella Gonzalez spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on 12 hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

| 04/04/26 vs Capistrano Valley | 1 |
At the plate, Kayleigh Allen was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
Meanwhile, Warren owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They put the hurt on Downey with a sharp 7-0 win. The Bears not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th (when they won 9-1).
Vivi Navarrete made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Navarrete was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
In other batting news, Bella Gonzalez and Julissa Gradilla did most of the damage at the plate: Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Gradilla went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Kaylee Rangel was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Warren lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2025.
Gahr pushed their record up to 13-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Warren, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Gahr hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Warren struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Gahr's way against Warren when the teams last played back in March, as Gahr made off with a 7-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gladiators since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
