It was another big night for Samarian Franklin, who scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. The contest was her 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakerria Ringstaff, who scored two points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Woodlawn was beaten by Jackson-Olin 39-12 last Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Woodlawn has scored all season.
Wenonah pushed their record up to 15-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Woodlawn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Wenonah against Woodlawn in their previous meeting back in November of 2021 as the squad secured a 75-26 win. With Wenonah ahead 42-18 at the half, the game was all but over already.
