The Middle College Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Manassas 56-25 on the road. The win was nothing new for Middle College as they're now sitting on three straight.
Middle College found their leader in underclassman Kiya Mell , who scored 16 points along with eight steals. Mell has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Woods, who scored eight points along with seven steals.
Middle College's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Manassas, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Middle College will look to defend their home court on Friday against King Prep at 6:00 p.m. King Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 299th, while Middle College is ranked 108th). As for Manassas, they will head out on the road to face off against Soulsville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Soulsville comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
