Considering Holy Family has won eight matches by more than 30 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Holy Family's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Julia Hodell, who scored eight points along with nine steals. Hodell is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Gracie Ward, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Holy Family's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 42.4 points. As for Centaurus, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Holy Family's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Longmont at 5:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for Centaurus, they will head out on the road to face off against Mead at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
