The biggest upset of the week belonged to Front Range Christian, who took down 178th ranked Front Range Christian, 42-27. Kayle Robidart ran for 231 yards and caught two passes for 20 yards in the win.
Platte Canyon extended the longest winning streak in 1A Metro this week by beating Clear Creek, 65-15. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Brenden Mulhern made the biggest impact on defense this week as Estes Park bested the Falcons. The senior racked up two sacks.
Josh Van Eps was the best wideout in the league this week as Denver Christian lost to Lyons. Van Eps racked up five receptions for 83 yards. Forrest Sanderson helped Denver Christian's passing attack out by catching five balls for 36 yards.
Frankie KellerTwigg put up the best numbers through the air as the Bobcats topped Front Range Christian. He finished with nine completions for 74 yards and two touchdowns. KellerTwigg's favorite target this week was Adam Christienson, who caught four passes for 26 yards.
The Crusaders' Tate Kastens and Sanderson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Kastens has thrown for 1397 yards this season, while Sanderson, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 40 catches for 490 yards. Hunter Grivna-Bode from Platte Canyon leads the league in rushing with 1560 yards.
The Huskies took down the Golddiggers 65-15 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jake Robl ran for 163 yards in the win.
