Shelby-Rising City put the match away in the third quarter with 13 points from the offense and seven points allowed from the defense.
No one put up better numbers for Shelby-Rising City than senior Mason Schleis, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 298 yards and 5 touchdowns. Senior Max Hoatson was in the mix, too, providing Shelby-Rising City with 2 touchdowns.
Next week Shelby-Rising City take on Centennial at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. Twin River will be playing at home against David City at at 7:00 PM. David City also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their contest this week, so look for the defenses to decide this one.
