The Clarksville Academy Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Clarksville Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Clarksville Academy took a serious blow against Central, falling 83-48. Clarksville Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-20.
Despite their defeat, Clarksville Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Anna Hellums, who scored 13 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Fatu Crain, who scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Donelson Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They really took it to Christian Community for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-22 victory on the road.
Ensworth's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Clarksville Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 2-2.
