The Orestimba Warriors entered their tilt with the Enochs Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Orestimba snuck past Enochs with a 29-23 win on Saturday. The score was all tied up 11-11 at the break, but Orestimba was the better team in the second half.
Orestimba found their leader in underclassman Ashlynn Bell, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for her.
Orestimba's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Enochs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orestimba will take on Le Grand at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Enochs, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Turlock at 7:30 p.m.
