They really took it to Covenant Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 98-23 win on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Evergreen Christian has managed all season.
Evergreen Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach Cook, who went 8 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and 3 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cook has scored all season. Cole Forbrich was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight assists and eight steals.
When it comes to explaining why Covenant Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Caleb Bazill. Despite the final result, he scored seven points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Covenant Christian Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Evergreen Christian racked up 31 assists.
