East Hampton has won four straight games at home, while Cromwell has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Bellringers will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
If East Hampton beats Cromwell with five runs on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Bellringers beat Haddam-Killingworth on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-4.

East Hampton let Mason Rall and Logan Supinski run wild. Rall went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Supinski got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two runs gave Supinski a new career-high. Joseph Jarzabek also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, Cromwell hadn't done well against North Branford recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thunderbirds, sneaking past 4-3.
Tyler Bonelli made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Bonelli was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Bonelli wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Lambert, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.
Cromwell hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in seven consecutive games.
East Hampton's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-7. As for Cromwell, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.
East Hampton might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Cromwell in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Bellringers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
