Crescenta Valley scaled the state rankings by moving to 349 from 503 this week, the biggest jump in Pacific. The Falcons climbed the ranks as a result of besting San Marino 56-53.
Burroughs was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to fifth in the league. The Indians beat North Hollywood 30-7 earlier in the week.
Tony Toledo was the best running back in the league this week. In 5 carries, he ran for 113 yards as Burbank fell to La Canada. Teammate Joseph Pendleton added to the ground attack by rushing for 78 yards.
Brian Gadsby threw for 483 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Gadsby put up the best numbers through the air as Crescenta Valley beat the Titans. Gadsby's favorite target this week was Chase Walker, who caught 7 passes for 91 yards.
Marin was the best wideout in Pacific this week as the Nitros lost to the Spartans. Marin racked up 8 receptions for 131 yards. Tristian Preciado helped Glendale's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 15 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Gadsby of Paul Schilling's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 682. He has also thrown 12 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Alvin Kim. The Hoover star has 9 catches for 143 yards.
The Falcons and San Marino played the most contested game in the league this week, with the Falcons eventually emerging with a 56-53 victory. Gadsby ran for 27 yards in the win.
