Peyton Chaffin gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April of 2025 on Friday. Nobody could stop him as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Trumann is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5-1 otherwise.

Coming up, Chaffin and Trumann will host Buffalo Island Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last time these two faced off, Chaffin and Co. were forced to settle for a 12-2 loss.
