Rockwell Christian School strolled past Asheboro Hybrid Academy with points to spare, taking the game 42-23. The win made it back-to-back wins for Rockwell Christian School.
Rockwell Christian School can attribute much of their success to Kylie Smith, who scored 11 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least 25% of Rockwell Christian School's points. Another player making a difference was Kailey Leepard, who scored 8 points.
Asheboro Hybrid Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Sadie Coble and McKenna Voncannon. Coble scored 4 points along with 9 rebounds, while Voncannon scored 3 points.
The victory got Rockwell Christian School back to even at 2-2. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockwell Christian School will take on Victory Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Vandalia Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
