The Landstown Eagles will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Salem Sundevils at 7:00 p.m. The timing isn't great for Landstown: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Sundevils have snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.
Last Friday, Landstown was the victim of a tough 56-31 defeat at the hands of the Marlins.
Meanwhile, Salem stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 60-25 win over Cox on the road. Given Salem's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Falcons are ranked 293rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Landstown's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Salem, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
