It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Totino-Grace Eagles had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 49-7 victory over St. Anthony Village. The victory was just what Totino-Grace needed coming off of a 44-12 loss in their prior game.
Justin Kuharski had a dynamite game for Totino-Grace, rushing for 116 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries. Kuharski's longest rush was for an incredible 87 yards. Another player making a difference was Marquel Keten, who rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown.
Totino-Grace's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for St. Anthony Village, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
Totino-Grace will take on Hutchinson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hutchinson is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games. St. Anthony Village does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
