Sharyland had lost three straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it four. They took a 72-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McAllen Bulldogs. On the bright side, the 61- point performance marked the Rattlers' highest-scoring contest to date.

As for McAllen, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 60.1 points this season.

McAllen got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Judah Rios out in front who shot 60% from the field en route to 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalin Gilmore, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 13 points.

Coincidentally, Sharyland and McAllen will both be playing Pioneer the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Diamondbacks at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Rattlers will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
