Meanwhile, Eastside had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They breezed past the Raiders to the tune of 42-15. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won five contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Eastside's win came from a few key players Bishop Moore will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Javaris Gardner, who rushed for 164 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 54 yards. Nelson Tambling also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Eastside's run defense was locked in: South Sumter could only muster -0.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Demarco Daniels for the heroic effort on defense: he. Eastside didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.1.
Eastside didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tramayne Montague and Jayce Starke. Eastside got some further help from Chad Hall: he picked up three sacks and made five total tackles.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's matchup: Bishop Moore has been excellent in the air this season, having averaged 289.9 passing yards per game. It's a different story for Eastside, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 143 passing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant passing game?
Everything came up roses for Bishop Moore against Eastside in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 35-6 win. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
