Staples waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Westhill Vikings 59-36. The Wreckers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.
Leading Staples to victory were Adam Udell and Dhilan Lowman. Udell went 8-for-12 en route to 17 points, while Lowman went 6-for-12 to rack up 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Udell continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Drew Hill also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first boards of the season.
Staples' victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points over those games. As for Westhill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.
