Our Lady of the Elms' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Pilar Hampton, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 19 rebounds. Hampton hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for ten straight games. Faith Farris was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Medina Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 41-32 to Central Christian. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Medina Christian Academy in their matchups with Central Christian: they've now lost three in a row.
Our Lady of the Elms' win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Medina Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
