Elsinore will challenge Temescal Canyon on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Elsinore will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
In almost any game, 56 points would all but guarantee a win. Not in this one. Elsinore fell to Notre Dame 56-70. Elsinore's defeat came about despite a quality game from junior Gemini Batimana, who rushed for 180 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Temescal Canyon have had to suffer through a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Arlington with points to spare last Friday, taking the contest 24-6.
Temescal Canyon's win lifted them to 4-5 while Elsinore's loss dropped them down to 4-5. In their victory, Temescal Canyon relied heavily on senior Brandon Clemons, who rushed for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns. Elsinore will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
