Paxton had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it seven. They were beaten by the Medicine Valley Raiders 69-37. Even though they lost, the Tigers' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 27.3 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Keegan Florom threw for 84 yards and two touchdowns. Maddex Mcconnell was his top target, picking up 75 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Tyler Markussen rushed for 92 yards and one score on only nine carries.

As for Medicine Valley, they moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mason Roblee produced another solid effort throwing for 240 yards and six TDs on only 15 passes, while also rushing for 74 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.

Looking ahead, Paxton will host Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Roughriders have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Medicine Valley, they will head out to square off against Wauneta-Palisade at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
