The Morro Bay Pirates scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Orcutt Academy 6-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for Morro Bay as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.
They hit Orcutt Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from

Julieana Gonzalez.
Morro Bay's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-18-1. As for Orcutt Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morro Bay will take on Templeton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Morro Bay is coming into the game with five straight victories on the road, meaning Templeton will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Orcutt Academy, they will square off against Santa Ynez at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Ynez is facing Orcutt Academy at the right time seeing as Orcutt Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
