The Western Hills Cougars lost against the Dunbar Wildcats on January 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Western Hills was dealt a 66-20 defeat at the hands of the Wildcats. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Western Hills in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost eight in a row.
It was another big night for Jordan McIntosh, who scored 30 points along with 14 rebounds and 12 steals for Dunbar. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McIntosh has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariel Duran, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Western Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Dunbar, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-8.
Western Hills will head out on the road to face off against the Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastern Hills will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Dunbar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
