The Brookfield Bobcats came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 64-53 victory over East Hampton. Given Brookfield's advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while East Hampton is ranked 90th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Another player making a difference was Brendan Longworth, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
