As a matter of fact, that's the most points Darmond has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Bryce Meitin, who scored 20 points along with two steals.
Benedictine's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Open Door Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
Benedictine will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Preppers at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Ohio (University School is ranked 369th, while the Bengals are ranked 358th). As for Open Door Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Elyria Catholic: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Patriots have snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.
