Morton won against Quitman on Friday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Everything went the Morton Panthers' way against the Scott Central Rebels as the Morton Panthers made off with a 14-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Morton, bringing their record for this year to 6-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.5 runs. As for Scott Central, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morton will venture away from home to square off against Puckett at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Scott Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Nanih Waiya at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Nanih Waiya has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.8 runs per game on average), something Scott Central will no doubt try to take advantage of.
