It was another big night for Brandon Johnson, who scored 32 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mj Quarterman, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and seven blocks.
McIntosh County Academy pushed their record up to 7-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Emanuel County Institute, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
McIntosh County Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Claxton at 7:30 p.m. on January 6th. Claxton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 515th, while McIntosh County Academy is ranked 215th).
