Centennial is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 41-6 victory over Servite. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won eight matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

Centennial got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Malaki Davis out in front who rushed for 160 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Those 160 rushing yards gave Davis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominick Catalano, who rushed for 65 yards and one score on only seven carries.
Centennial's run defense was locked in: Servite could only muster 3.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Hayden Zentner for the heroic effort on defense: he. Centennial didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.3.
Centennial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jaden Walk-Green and Jordan Kirkpatrick. Walk-Green got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
On Friday fans watched as two of the best teams in the nation hit the field. Mater Dei never let Mission Viejo get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory.
Mater Dei's win came from a few key players Centennial will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kennie Leggett, who rushed for 92 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. Malachi Roby was another key player, rushing for 39 yards and a pair of TDs.
One reason for the win was Mater Dei's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In that department, Shaun Scott was the leader with two. He is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as he's now posted at least one in each of the last six games he's played.
Mater Dei's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
