Wimberley came tearing into Tuesday's contest with 19 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Fredericksburg Billies 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Texans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
One reason for the win was Wimberley's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-10.
Trinity Laney paced Wimberley's offense, picking up 15 kills. Laney got some help from Skylar Herring and her 17 assists. Lilli Sandoval controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Wimberley's win bumped their record up to 34-5. As for Fredericksburg, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-16.
