The Enloe Eagles entered their match against the Sanderson Spartans on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Enloe's rough 48-24 loss to Sanderson might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Enloe in their matchups with Sanderson: they've now lost five in a row.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chase White, who rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Moore, who picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Brilison McCullers was a one-man wrecking crew for Sanderson as he rushed for 186 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Tabion Elliott, who rushed for 192 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.3 yards per carry.
Enloe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-5. As for Sanderson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.
Enloe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sanderson is also done with their season.
