Brock had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Greenwood Rangers on Friday as they made off with a 35-14 victory. Fans of the Eagles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Brock's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryer Mcdonald led the charge by rushing for 163 yards and two TDs. Mcdonald's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Holt Frazier, who threw for 186 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Brock was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 200 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 161 rushing yards in five consecutive matchups.

Another reason for the win was Brock's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Hayden Waller, Slade Mathis, and Karsen Sullivan, who each picked up one sack apiece. Colt Matlock got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Brock pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 39.2 points thus far. As for Greenwood, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.

Coming up, Brock will take on Carthage on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last 13 games. Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
