Minatare put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season on Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Potter-Dix as the team secured a 98-14 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Minatare.
Despite the loss, Potter-Dix saw an underclassman step up: Freshman Jared Anton rushed for 67 yards and 1 touchdown. In fact, with nine tackles Moench was a force on both sides of the ball. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse sophomore Brandon Mendoza, who racked up ten tackles.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Minatare take on Creek Valley . Creek Valley have averaged 54.75 points over the course of their past four games, so Minatare might be in for a challenge. As for Potter-Dix, they will face off against Arthur County. Arthur County have averaged 40 points over the course of their past seven games, so Potter-Dix might be in for a challenge.
