Kenwood hasn't had much luck against Morgan Park recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Broncos will square off against the Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kenwood comes in on six and Morgan Park on five.
Kenwood is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Payton College Prep: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Broncos blew the Grizzlies out of the water with a 39-7 final score. The Broncos pushed the score to 27-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Grizzlies had little chance of recovering from.

One of the most notable was Ronald Smith Jr., who threw for 285 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 42 yards. Morgan Park's leading receiver Nasir Rankin was Smith Jr.'s top target yet again, picking up 150 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Morgan Park's defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Immanuel Carter with three. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven.
Kenwood's record is now 6-1. As for Morgan Park, their record now sits at 5-2.
Kenwood suffered a grim 20-0 defeat to Morgan Park in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Broncos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
