Two dominant signal callers in AJ Tuivaiave and Blake Moser are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Graham-Kapowsin Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Lake Stevens Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Graham-Kapowsin comes in on three and Lake Stevens on 12.
Graham-Kapowsin is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over Gonzaga Prep. Graham-Kapowsin's win was all the more impressive since the Bullpups were averaging only 12.42 points allowed on the season.

Graham-Kapowsin's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Blake Pearson, who gained 97 total yards and four touchdowns, and Jayce Halasz, who picked up 186 receiving yards and one touchdown. The dominant performance also gave Pearson a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (three).
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Graham-Kapowsin's defensive line and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jeremiah Leumuava, Quinncey Ratteray, and Gavin Deaton, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Lake Stevens faced Moses Lake in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Vikings really took it to the Mavericks for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-41 victory. Considering the Vikings have won ten contests by more than 27 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Moser and Brady Jay. Moser had a great game and threw for 336 yards and five TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes. Meanwhile, Jay was balling out in the loss, throwing for 454 yards and six touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes.
Graham-Kapowsin's record now sits at 11-1. As for Lake Stevens, their record is now 12-0.
We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Graham-Kapowsin has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 369.8 total yards per game. However, it's not like Lake Stevens struggles in that department as they've been averaging 427.6 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
Graham-Kapowsin might still be hurting after the 31-6 defeat they got from Lake Stevens when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Thankfully for the Eagles, Kolton Matson (who threw for 231 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 38 yards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
