Adding to the longest winning streak in 2A Conference 18 this week, Northside beat Southwest Onslow 30-25. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Monarchs.
Northside and the Stallions played the most contested game in the league this week, with Northside eventually emerging with a 30-25 victory.
Dixon's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Robbi Wyble threw for 88 yards and Deangelo Williams had 34 yards receiving. On the ground Malik Simons contributed 175 yards. Marcuz Estrellado helped Dixon's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 25 yards.

Tyrone Roby made the biggest impact on defense this week as East Duplin defeated Croatan. He recorded 1 fumble and grabbed 2 sacks.
Simons provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Dixon fell to the Scorpions. Simons' favorite target this week was Williams, who caught 4 passes for 34 yards.
North Brunswick's Randy Clark and Kevon Perkins have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Clark has thrown for 676 yards this season, while Perkins has 13 catches for 331 yards. Simons from Brandon Iseman's team leads the league in rushing with 1,664 yards.
An important game coming up in 2A Conference 18 this week will be when Garry Bishop's team takes on Bob Eason's team. As it stands, the Scorpions are in first, while the Monarchs are in third.
North Brunswick took down the Bulldogs 46-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
