The Eno River Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 65-52 to Henderson Collegiate. Eno River has struggled against Henderson Collegiate recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Eno River's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vaughn Clough, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him. Corey Amyot was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Eno River's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-8. As for Henderson Collegiate, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Eno River will be playing at home against Excelsior Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Excelsior Classical Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Henderson Collegiate, they will head out on the road to face off against Vance Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
