Carmichaels has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jefferson-Morgan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mighty Mikes will head out to face off against the Rockets at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Carmichaels' pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Mapletown with a sharp 15-0 victory. The win was just business as usual for the Mighty Mikes, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.

Duski Staggers was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Ke'Lani Chun was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Carmichaels always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .577. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mapletown only posted an OBP of .000.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jefferson-Morgan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past Avella 13-0 on Wednesday.

Jefferson-Morgan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Carmichaels, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Carmichaels came out on top in a nail-biter against Jefferson-Morgan when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mighty Mikes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
